Hello
When i start the debugger with the ICDU from CCS Compiler i have the message "The ICD Unit has an old version of firmware. Use "Configure hardware" in the configuration tab to update.
I have the 3.202 Compiler.
I have the last ICDU.exe (2.12)
And i have updated the firmware of the ICDU Unit (1.29)
Have you some idea ? |

I believe that is the latest firmware (1.29). Does it come up all the time? |

I had this problem once. Try updating it one more time. This may make the error go away. |

My first week with the ICD-S40
I have the 3.190 Compiler.
I have the ICD Control V2.12
And i have updated the ICD-S40 firmware to V1.29
PIC16F628 @8000000Mhz
The Unit seems to work, it pass all the built in tests succesfully.
I can program and load the PIC properly and after that I get the following messge:
Quote: |
"Could not Start target: the target was not halted after Reset.
Check the target oscillator and MCL." |
and it keept disabled all the debugging tools.
Target oscillator was checked (8Mhz stable and rail to rail).
I'm using 27K pull up resistor in MCLR and I read 4.21V in the Reset PIN. (...mmmh ?)
Any help/clue would be very well appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Humberto |
