This CCS Compiler Windows IDE plug-in enables the use of Microchip's MPLAB® ICD 2 and MPLAB® REAL ICE™ for debugging. It requires MPLAB® from Microchip. MPLAB® ICD 2, MPLAB® ICD 3, MPLAB® PICkit™ 3 and MPLAB® REAL ICE™ require version 4.065 or greater of the CCS IDE compiler. MPLAB® ICD 4 and MPLAB® PICkit™ 4 require version 5.082 or greater of the CCS IDE compiler or version 5.052 or higher of CCSLOAD. This plug-in only works for MPLAB® X versions up to version 5.45.

Utilities
The CCS Compiler (command-line and IDE) requires GDI+ to operate. Many PCs already have GDI+ already installed, but if you do not then you will need to install it.
