Doubts about the shift_right and shift_left functions
PostPosted: Mon Apr 14, 2008 11:48 am     Reply with quote

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone of you can explain me how the shift right and shift_left functions work !

I've see some documentation about it but I dont understand ..

If I have an byte like that 0b00000001 if I shift_right it like that shift_right(*(track+index),1,1) what happens ?

I'm studing this functions to make the mcr.c driver to read the track in both directions !

Thanks a lot guys,
Regards,
Diego Garcia

Make a short test program and find out.
Use printf to display the results.
That's how you can learn.
