Multiple compiler versions installed at the same time

Is there a clean way to have multiple versions installed at the same time?
I have two large projects. One requires 3.236 and the other needs 3.249.
I just did a release for one so now I'm going to unistall the compiler and reinstall the other. This is getting really old.

Which compiler are you using -- the IDE compiler (PCW/PCWH) or
the command line compilers (PCM, PCH, etc.) ?
If you let me know, I can post links to extensive discussions on this
topic.

I use the IDE with PCWH. I only work with 18Fs.
I did a search that came up empty before I posted the question...
