Merging hex files
PostPosted: Fri Jun 23, 2006 11:06 am     Reply with quote

I'm using an 877 to program a 648. The 877 run code is from 0 - fff. The data for the 648 should be held at 1000-1fff. Both applications are written in C with CCS. I cannot get the 877 to program properly, is there a way with CCS to merge the two hex files together so they program into the 877. Thank you!

You are being kind of vauge, and i dont know what you are really trying to do. How are you programming there, are you putting a bootloader on the PIC's and using the built in functions? you have to list this kind of information or it is hard to help you

I was able to get a quick answer to this by using Google. I searched
for: merging hex files
Keil appears to have downloadable tools to do that. I didn't test it, so
I don't know if it works, but if it doesn't then look at the other results
from the Google search. Here's the Keil link:
