[OT] 6-conductor female Insulation Displacement Connector |

Folks,
Sorry for the off topic question. But since there are many embedded system design gurus in this forum, I figured, you might know the answer.
Im looking for a 6-conductor Insulation Displacement Connector (IDC). So far, I have found the 6-conductor ribbon cable, and I have seen the 6-pin board-mounted headers (shrouded and polarized), which are, seemingly, designed to mate with the IDC connector. But I can not find the IDC connector itself. Do you know if anyone still makes and sells them?
Of course, I could use a discrete-wire cable, but such cable would be more expensive.
Thanks!

Post the manufacturer and part numbers of the connectors that
you have found. If we have that, then we can possibly find the
mating connector.
One thing I'm not certain about is, you say IDC with reference to
the ICD debugger. But the connectors are called "modular".
They're telephone jacks and plugs, not flat ribbon cable connectors (IDC).
So can you clarify what you're really looking for ? |

I bought some a few months ago from Digikey. I purchase a fairly large wide assortment and they have always had all the ones I needed including the dual level (2 cable ) IDC ribbon connectors. |

Per the ICD-2 manual, the modular connectors are AMP part number 5-554710-3. They also provide a Digikey A9117ND part number....

I meant the IDC ribbon cable connector all along. |
