I'd need a driver for a LCD Display OPTREX DMC40457, 40 characters and 4 lines.

Anyone can help me ?

Hi Mark

thank you for your reply, but the driver LCD420.c is not working.
The Optrex display got 2 enable pins.
On forlines 1 and 2 and one for lines 3 and 4.
If i'use enable1 i can display data on lines 1 and 2, if i'use enable2 i display then on lines 3 and 4.
Together i can see the same data on lines 1 and 2 , and 3 and 4.
The RAM address on the display should be the same for line 1 and 2 and for line 3 and 4.
Only enable signal is different.

Treat it as though it were 2 displays. Use E1 when you write to the top two lines and E2 when you write to lines 3 & 4. You could have separate routines for this. You could also just pass a parameter or set a global flag. Then when you need to use the enable pin, look at the flag to decide which one to use.
