Help needed Reg ICD U-40

When i connect the CCS ICD U40 Debugger to the target i am getting the following error

" ICD ERROR:

Could not load function: DBG_DOWNLOAD_TO_TARGET1.Make sure you are running the latest version."

if anybody knows the solution for the above error, please help me.
