About the RS-232 serial communication using PIC 16F877
PostPosted: Fri Jan 13, 2006 5:03 am     Reply with quote

i have used PIC 16F877 and RS232 standard for the serial communication.
in my simulation the data is getting transferred to the PC through the port but the data is not the one which i want . i have use the " putc" and "printf" statements for the transfer. still the expected data is not getting transferred. The data what i want to transfer is read from the i2c RAM and the data read for transfer is not the one which i want.

when i use only the "i2c_read" function for reading the data read is correct, the one i want, but durib the transfer it is something different.
I am usin proteus v6.7 version for the simulation purpose.

WHAT SHOULD I DO???

PLEASE HELP ME OUT..

1) Post your code. Include header and compiler version.
2) Short description of your hardware.
