application notes for BQ2060 GAS GAUGE
PostPosted: Thu Dec 01, 2005 10:57 am     Reply with quote

Hi all,

I did a search in the forum and was surprised few people posted questions about gas gauge. Hopefully there are some people who did it before.

I am using BQ2060 by TI to monitor the 3 batteries on my system and my PIC18F8722 will use HDQ16 1-wire protocol to control this gas gauge.

I am still reading the datasheet which is a bit big and at the mean time collecting application notes. Are there anybody who are/were working on this or related chip using HDQ16?

What I am looking for here are some application notes links. Though I got some application notes from TI website, I found resources about this battery monitor chip was few on google. So certainly if somebody got more information and are willing to share here, that will be wicked!

Thanks a lot
ye

Have you tried going to TI's website and entering the part number in the search window?

www.ti.com

I did, and there are 3 application notes on this part, including one on the communications protocol.
