motor driver circuit

i got to drive a huge current consuming (25A) dc motor with pic. and i got a few IRF250s. how can the motor drive circuit can be constucted because i tried some methods with protective diodes but still it is dangerous for mosfets to be on. a fwe links maybe..

How much current does the motor really consume during "normal" operation? You can use:

IRAMX20UP60A
IRAMX16UP60A/B

(where the '20' and '16' means the current rating). These are pretty pricey 3-phase modules, so it is only economically sound if you use them in at least an H-bridge configuration (2 phases). Do you have to be able to turn in both directions? These have the IGBTs built-in; you just need to screw them into a heatsink, or even your chassis.

I generally use the MAX627 family. Read the MAX627 data sheet for details.

I have come across this chip some time ago, and I was planning to use it, but the whole project got canceled. I wonder, can this chip run 30A continuously for hours (in an application such as windshield wiper motor)?

I suggest you IRF150 or there is module of H-bridge can handel high power which is availble in IRF
