Hi mickey231bhq,

Did you find any code about LIN BUS ?

I'm also starting to work with LIN BUS and I'm interest to find same example especially with CCS compiler.

Have you something to suggest me ?

Thanks,
Mark

Check out this app note. It is not CCS C but you can port it.

Hi mickey231bhq,

I'm starting witn new project and I'm deciding about hardware.

Does some PIC interface directly LIN BUS or I must use a diver for example MCP201 ?

Did you use a PIC16 or PIC 18 Family ?

Do you have same tips about for me ?

Thanks for help.

Hi mickey231bhq,

Is there any converter from PC, RS332 or USB, to LIN BUS ?

This will be useful for me in debug to test comunication.

Bye,

I'm waiting now a contact from Vector.

There's any simple way to simulate LIN BUS with RS232 and driver MCP201 ?

You must pay attention to your OPERATION MODES first, after entering OPERATION MODE, you can do LIN BUS with the hardware of RS232.

Hi Mickey,

I'm waiting to receve a LIN BUS->RS232 Converter but I'm in trouble with PIC because I don't have already chosen from PC16 and PIC18.

I have to implement one Master and one Slave in Lin Bus.

By your esperience, shall I use standard UART for both Master and Slave or must use EUART, for example PIC16F690 ?

Thanks for replay
