PIC18Fxx80 and MPLAB 5

Hello all,

We are still using MPLAB 5 with the PICstart Plus and would like to start using the 18F4680's but I don't see the part listed when I try to start a new project. I know this isn't an MPLAB support forum, but I thought I'd try here because some people use it. Does anyone know of an update/patch for version 5 that supports the newer parts or is an upgrade to version 6 in my future?

You need to get the new version. Both versions can co-exist on your PC.
They are installed in separate directories by default.
