LCD A1,A2,A3 & data lines on d4,d5,d6,d7

Hello,

I'm using the origional PicDem - 2 (not Plus) board for prototyping. My problem is getting my 2-line, 20 character LCD to work with it. I'm using the modified LCD.c code written by Mark with the appropriate pin changes but it doesn't work. I know the device is ok because it works from the same board and chip using a PicBasic program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Port A may mean open collector, thus you will need pull-up on them.
Try this and see if it helps.
