standalone ?
PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2005 8:28 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I am using:

* CCS PCWH latest compiler version
* ICD-U40

When I use the debugger to program, my program runs perfectly. Now I want to use my application in standalone mode, but nothing works !?

Code:
#include <16F877A.h>
#device adc=8

#fuses XT, NOPUT, NOPROTECT, NOLVP, NOCPD, NOWRT,WDT
#use delay(clock=4000000)
#use rs232(baud=9600,parity=N,xmit=PIN_C6,rcv=PIN_C7,bits=8)

What can I be doing wrong?

you are in debug mode you must program the chip. i use mplab as my enviroment so instead of setting my debugger i set the unit as a programmer

Use CCS ICD.EXE stand alone program

Use the stand alone ICD program.
Make sure you have the icd define off before you compile.
You can run the program with the ICD connected, or simply disconnect the ICD.
