Have you tried reading the manual?

i agree that u should somethimes read datasheets.
set_adc_channel(NO_ANALOGS);

This is really a question of what the original poster means by 'disable the ADC'. The first answer, 'turns off' the ADC converter. The second answer sets the input multiplexor, to route none of the input pins to the ADC converter. The two together, give you digital operation, without the ADC clock running, or any pins routed to the component. :-)
