Is there an "overlay" option in CCS compiler, like in the C18 one?
Where you can use the same memory locaton as long as they are not used at the same time.

CCS will automatically reuse memory locations.

Now this was true in the past. But now that I think about it, they allow function pointers. So how can this be possible unless they "detect" that a function is assigned to a pointer and not reuse local vars for that function.
