LCD choices! |

I need a backlit serial LCD module, but am rather spoiled for choice. Any part numbers (preferebaly from UK suppliers) or URLs would be nice. A 1 or 2 line LCD would be good, and the larger the better, although it's not that vital.

I like Lumex's displays but they are not serial. They are simple to interface to though. I know some people take a small PIC and interface to the LCD then send serial commands to the PIC...

i used a EA DIP204B-4NLW (blue/white)
with a KS 0073 controller on it. you can interface the LCD with SPI. i used a 16f876 to do that and it works fine |

HD44780 does not accept data serially. It has a data bus. He said he wanted a
