CCP dual operation

Dear All,
I was wondering if I could pick some of your brain cells:
PIC16f874
I know this pic has 2 CCP pins.
Unfortunatly both are used in capture mode.
If I want to multiplex a minature piezo speaker with a sensor which
generates a frequency.
How can I prevent the signal from the sensor from driving the minature piezo speaker directly???
All the best _________________ Best Regards

It is difficult to know from your rather 'incomplete' description. However probably something like using an output from the PIC to control a multiplexer. Since it sounds as though you will be controlling a signal that is bi-directional, look at bi-lateral switches, or an 'analog multiplexer'. The 74HC4351, is an example of this type of device. Then set the signal to route the CCP pin to the piezo when you want to send this a signal, or to connect the sensor, when you want to read this.
