Hi,

I wish to know the concept of upcall-ing, how it works and some examples. Please kindly let me know how to do it or point me to relevant tutorial web site (i couldn't find any tutorial about upcall). Thanks!

The normal name for this in a 'PC' context, is a 'callback'. A routine is handed a address, and generates a callback to this address, when some event occurs. This normally only has context on a multi-tasking OS (which CCS C is not, unless you write your own multi-tasking kernel). Technically, you could probably generate something of this nature, using a 'time sliced' event checker, and then storing the address of a function, and calling this, when a particular event is met. However this is not really a particularly useful concept on a simple processor like the PIC.

Best Wishes
