and the key to understand is that if driving such a motor, the supply will
probably need to be a lot higher than the PIC can take. Therefore there
have to be level shift circuits between a logic signal and the two upper
transistors, and these will need a bootstrap supply to feed them.
This chip handles the level translataion, generates the bootstrap supply,
and contains the power FET;s themselves. Also a current limit shutdown
to handle overloads. All the hardware needed for driing a motor this way,
from a chip like the PIC.
