Difference Between CCS C Compiler and MPLAB IDE 8.92 Version
PostPosted: Wed Jun 02, 2021 2:29 pm     Reply with quote

Hi

We made a test project in MPLAB and selected CCS compiler.

Looks like it installed with MPLAB.

Says it is for PIC/PIC24 and dsPIC.

Can we compile demo programs for our CCS boards with this?

Thanks

MPLAB vs. 8.92 does not come bundled with the CCS PCD compiler.

Okay.

It shows a path where the CCS is.

I will take a look at the CCS.

It may be from a CCS compiler we uninstalled.

But it may have been there when MPLAB installed.

It's likely that MPLAB v8.92 is seeing one of your Development Kit
CCS compiler installations.
