Hello
I have a pic 16f630
I know that every time the pic is programmed, the calibration word erases.
I want to prevent it.
since this is a manufacturing process, I can't check each pic's calibration word. how can I do that?
I know that every time the pic is programmed, the calibration word erases.
Thats not exactly true.If you tell the programmer not to programm the last program memory address the osccal value will be still there (if the chip wasn't erased before, I think a few programmers do that before programming)
The other calibration value are the two bandgap bits in the config word but I don't know if you can only program specific config bits.
Wouldn't it be possible to first read the whole pic, extract the calibration constants and then program it?
