Does CCS 3.249 support any programmer/debugger from ICD2, ICD3, ICD4 and PICKit3? |

PICkit3 I'm pretty sure, as far as programming. I've never used 'debuggers' as I use the Real World for all testing.
I've had PCM since v2.4x, in 3.xx needed to upgrade to a PK3 as I use MPLAB just to pgm PICs. |

I actual use ICD3/ICD4 and MPLAB X IPE v5.15 for programming the PIC18, but it would be nice to be able to debug the program with CCS 3.249 and one of the available debuggers. |

Remember you could install MPLAB 8.92 (the old version, not MPLAB-X), and
add the CCS plug in for this, then use MPLAB as the development
environment, with all the tools this supports. Since 8.92, supports all
the processors 3.249 supports, this would give quite a usable IDE/debug
system. |

Thx for the hint, but it seems , this will not work with version 3.249:
"This CCS Compiler Windows IDE plug-in enables the use of Microchip's MPLAB® ICD2 and MPLAB® REAL ICE™ for debugging. MPLAB® ICD2, MPLAB® ICD3, MPLAB® PICkit3 and MPLAB® REAL ICE™ require version 4.065 or greater of the CCS IDE compiler." |
