RF solutions ICEPIC why can't they state the prices? |

Why is it that a major supplier/manufacturer of the ICEPIC, cannot even bother to put a price of the emulator on the website.? I am weary of companies that do this, it gives the impression that they are up to no good. |

All hardware and development kit of CCS can be found in this URL. Also, it includes pricing...

In fact CCS, are better about this, than RfSolutions themselves!. If you go to the RfSolutions website, there are no prices given for the ICEPIC, (only for some 'special offers'). However CCS, _do_ list the prices, in their 'hardware' section of the general price list.
If you select the 'PIC-C' section of the CCS site, then 'hardware tools', it goes straight to the prices.

Hi
They have sent me a pdf price list, but i did get in toiuch with them for quotes on about 15 items.
It is a couple of months old now, but prices may not have changed dramatically. If yoou want i can email a copy.
Or tell me what you want the price of, and i will post it in message.
Or email them!
May everyone on this forum happy a very happy and successful new year!

I've sold complex gear in the past and I have resisted putting out price lists - it was because I wanted to talk to the folks first to be sure that the system would be configured properly - nothing evil. I know it's a pain and I would prefer to see prices too, but on complex parts sometimes it's best to actually talk to a sales engineer - to make sure that you will get the right thing.
I recently bought a spectrum analyzer and the option codes got all messed up and I ended up getting it without HPIB - I had to wait another 4 weeks for that to arrive - all the time I couldn't program it - in that case a call would have saved me 4 weeks and many more phone calls in the end.
My 2 cents worth...

I recently purchased my ICEPIC from CCS in USA... even after all the import duties etc I saved over 20% in comparison to the prices quoted to me by rf solutions in the UK.
Is this another example of ripp off britain or what??? |

In business ther can only be one true reason why you don't advertise the price. Cause you want to RIPP people off... Good on you mate....
I know of businesses that have 2 prices... alow price for the tax man and a high price for the customer... depends on who is asking.... |
