PIC10F200 OSCCAL
PostPosted: Mon May 22, 2017 4:52 pm     Reply with quote

Hi guys, I'm using Googlium training board and for some reason It lost OSCCAL value. On Pickit 2 says invalid osccal value detected and when I try to regenerate it says programming failed at memory address 0x000000. On Pickit 3 says Target has invalid calibration data (0x3f).

How can I rescue the chip? In my city this chip is hard to find and I need it for the training board since it's tutorials were written for this chip. Can I manually set it? Which value goes in for this chip. How do I prevent this from happening again? Thanks in advance.

Have a look at this thread:

(A search here would have found this.....)

So you would need to add:

#ROM 0x0FF=0x83F

You can also then run some code and test if the oscillator is giving the correct timings. If not, 'tweak' the value.
