flex keypad hardware help

I suppose to use Flex_KBD.C in my application. But i can't understand where i must put the pull up resisters. please can someone tell that where to put pull up(or down) resisters in columns or rows. Please help.

If you look at flex_kbd, you will see it says it is based on kbd.c, with the addition of allowing you to use different pins.
Look at kbd.c, and you will see it says where the resistors are needed.
