Update chip program

HI.
Does anyone know how can I update program code into a PIC... without connecting the chip to a whatever programmer (in my case pickit2).
Excuse my bad english!

You will have to use a chip programmer unless the PIC already has a "bootloader" programmed into it.

I mean just like firmware update.
Where can I find more details about bootloader function?
I was searching at the CCS Manual but there is no much info about that.

'Bootloader' is a 3rd party program that you load once into the PIC.When commanded, it will transfer a compiled program(firmware) from the host(usually a PC) into the PIC.
Bootloaders are specific to the PIC you're using and can be simple or complex. There is no 'generic' bootloader,so you'll have to search for one for your PIC.There are several 'threads' about them here and tons of them on the Web.
