Hi there, I am a college student currently in my final year in College.
I would like to ask:
Q1: is the CCS COMPILER = CCS C COMPILER? [Yes/No]
Q2: I can't download the DEMO version of CCS from this website. Why?
Is there any web link where I can download the CCS software?
Thank You and Kindly Assist.

CCS usually means CCS PIC-C -- but could also mean one of several versions that cater to the various PIC device families from Microchip.
There's:
PCB
PCM
PCH
PCD
PCW
PCWHD
and so on...
If you want to demo the compiler, you should contact CCS directly.
Cheers,

Hi bkamen,
Thank you for your reply. However, I am actually referring to the "free-trial version" of the CCS compiler.
I went into the website, and browsed to the "Demo (Free) version for Download".
(I did not purchase as the CCS C compiler software isn't a FREEWARE).
Upon pressing the download button for the "demo version", which led to the successful download of the files, however, there wasn't any installation wizard in it.
Strange.
And how so may I contact the CCS party directly?
Do they not menitor this Forum aka General Discussion Board?
Thank You and Kindly Assist.
