USB CDC
PostPosted: Fri Mar 04, 2011 9:30 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,

I understand that when you use CDC virtual com port you can send/receive one byte each time. Is this true?
Is there a buffer that I can fill and then send it out? If yes, what is it's size?
If no, is there any other method for sending/receiving faster data though the USB port?
Thanks,

George.

Hello George,

When sending data to the PC you can fill the Tx buffer and then send it to the PC. When receiving data from the PC sometimes you get one byte at a time but sometimes you get more. I think it depends on the UART baud rate.
