timerO interrupt problem
PostPosted: Wed Jun 30, 2010 8:23 am     Reply with quote

hi everybody

I have a button and led circuit. But it didn't work properly.
I set up the circuit on the breadboard but when I push the button the led didn't work. When I take off the button's + cable, led works. What it must be? It's interesting my circuit works in Proteus with no problem.

Please help my problem I am new in pics and CCS.

That's because Proteus doesn't simulate everything. It "allows" mistakes
to be made.

Download the 16F84A data sheet:
http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/devicedoc/35007b.pdf
Look at this table:
Quote:

TABLE 6-2: CAPACITOR SELECTION
FOR CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR

It shows the oscillator fuse setting for some typical crystal frequencies.
Look at your crystal frequency, and find the correct fuse in the table.
Then edit your #fuses statement and fix the problem.
