Annoying MPLAB "FYI" message |

Hi all,
Just purchased PCWH and am still learning the ropes, so please be gentle
I'm running the latest software (updated this morning) with MPLab v8.50. Using CCSLoad to program an 18F6627 via an ICD2.
Every single time I program, erase, debug etc I get a messagebox from MPLAB which says:
MPLAB ICD 2 : FYI
Did you know that you can double click an error or warning message in the MPLAB ICD 2 output window to display help information for that error or warning?
Now as helpful as that is, it stopped being useful about 40 times ago!
I've looked in mplab to see if it can be disabled anywhere but can't see anything obvious.
Also, if I import the .hex file into mplab directly and write it to the PIC i get no such message, so it must be something that CCS is causing to happen... i think.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Matt. |

There's probably a 'switch' to enable/disable that option....
I don't have your setup but it looks like mplab is generating the message.
Did it appear with previous version like mplab 8.40 ?

Hi Jay,
Not sure about any other versions of MPLAB - I only just bought the compiler and this is the first time I've installed MPLAB for more than a year. |
