Setting configuration fuses manually on PIC24 [how-to]
PostPosted: Fri Feb 12, 2010 5:26 am     Reply with quote

Hi

I was not able to find this information on the forum, so I thought I would post it here. (from CCS support)

Code:
// First, you need to tell the compiler to stop using any default values like this:

#fuses NONE

// Then you use #rom to place the word at the right value:

#rom CW1={value}
#rom CW2={value}
#rom CW3={value}

//Use #define to give CW1, CW2 and CW3 the correct address.

The above doesn't work any more - I have been advised by CCS that this is now the correct way:

Code:
#fuses  1=0xFFFF
#fuses  2=0x207E
#fuses  3=0x3F7F
