ICD-U40 : Target not recognized
PostPosted: Mon Feb 01, 2010 9:21 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

I'm using CCSLOAD 4.022 with the ICD-U40.

I always get the following error:

"Target not recognized. Device ID = 3FFF."

However, my hardware connections are OK, because it used to work earlier.

Is my programmer dead?
What can I do?

best regards;

Make sure the RJ11 cable connector is seated firmly in the ICD. I have had this problem at least twice.

Hey,

thanks for replying; I found all my programmers to be dead. I bought a new one and everything was fine.

regards
