+1 my vote.
For me, it would allow an application to grow, and easy porting across the line with the same compiler suite.
As it is now, when an application grows, I just switch chips up to 18F. I just recently starting moving some of my projects to the 24F. But realy no change in code, just slight startup stuff.
When I go to PIC32, I have to now port stuff over. It would be very nice to just change my include file and and change a few startup items, and stay with the same CCS suite. _________________ Michael Bradley

Based on the PCD compiler you can expect a working PC(32) compiler around 2020. _________________ Mick |

Hmm, not sure CCS ever make a WORKING compiler - perhaps a usable compiler in 2020 |
