I've imported the Fuses.txt file (from the latest version 4.101 PCWHD compiler in the C:\Program Files\PICC directory) into Excel. The Excel file is called Fuses.xls. The fuses are in one column and the descriptions (when available from the source Fuses.txt file) are in another column. I added columns for the processors I use the most and put 'x's in the rows for the pertinent fuses for the processor of that column. The rows are sorted by fuse.
I went through the device files for the processors I use and mapped them to the fuses in the spreadsheet. This has been a good time-saver for determining valid fuses and their meanings.
There were quite a few fuses from the device files not listed in the original fuses.txt file. When creating a program using a device, does the compiler look at the device file for the valid fuses or does it get them from the fuses.txt file?
If anyone is interested in getting the Excel file, send a PM. You can change the processors in the columns to ones you use. You could also add or remove columns, etc.
