Version Control Software SURVEY!

Hi all,

I was hoping to find out what everybody is using (if anything) to handle version control.

I was hoping for something that at least would allow check in/check outs or just incremental backups scheduled periodically

for windows i use tortoise in client and in server side http://www.visualsvn.com/
also AnkhSVN to visual studio.
everything opensource and works like a clock

Thanks for the info.

It looks like Tort SVN is the winner. I downloaded, installed and setup within 15 minutes. I'm not sure why everyone doesnt use this!

How about Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (MS VSS)? It comes with Visual Studio 6.
I'm currently using it.
