Output on RS232 terminal

I juz wanna output something from the PIC 18F4620 at the base station so that I can test whether RS 232 can communicate with my PIC. Beside declaring the definition:

Code:
#use rs232(baud = 9600, xmit=Pin_C6, rcv=Pin_C7)


How can I output anything that can run and display it on the Hyper Terminal?
