Hi.
I'm planning to develop a circuit to use it instead of floppy disk drive. This circuit will connect to floppy socket on main board and if computer request data, circuit will respond data read from MMC/SD or any.
Could you please share knowledges with me? thank you.

I have to start the same project too and we can share the researches and the results too.
Sorry for the late reply but this project is being planned to just right now and I am mikrobasic mainly and newbie to ccs picc and achieving this project in C is much more efficient than in basic.

I don't think that this is possible with a PIC without a dedicated hardware, e. g. a programmable logic device, as serializer/deserializer for the data stream. You have to send and receive a continuous stream at 1MBit/s. Did you already understand the FD interface?
