Changing from a PIC16F819 to a PIC16F887
PostPosted: Tue Feb 19, 2019 2:06 pm     Reply with quote

Hi, I have written a code in mplab for a PIC16F819 that uses timer 0 &1 overflow. I've now decided to use a PIC16F887 instead (since it has more pins) does this mean I have to change the code or would the code remain the same?

The timer code can remain the same, provided that you are using CCS
functions to control the timers.
