I would like to ask if the module MRF24J40MD can be used for a card reader modules.

since no one lese has replied.....

You really need to better explain what you mean.

If
1) to provide a 'wireless' interface between a remote card reader and a host, then yes, though you will need some kind of PIC between the card reader and the xcvr as well as some 'host' PIC.

If
2) to receive the data from a 'key fob' or 'key card' then no it will not. It is NOT the same technology
