Question about forum (general electronics questions)

I want to know if general electronics questions can be asked in this forum.

Not really.

The place for them is a general electronics forum.

Ones that are really general, usually get told this within a few moments.
You will find quite a few questions like this that are just two posts long. The original question, and a reply saying 'go elsewhere'.

Some that are PIC'ish, sometimes get allowed, but if they go on too long, or have no relevance at all to PIC's or CCS code, will again get told to vanish...

A lot of general electronics things do get covered, where the original poster is talking about a CCS/PIC problem, and it is obvious to those replying, that there is a hardware problem also involved.
