ICD-U64 seem be the best programmer/debugger for guys who use CCS Compiler for PIC/dsPIC. But the disadvantages are:
- Big
- USB-B connector for computer connect
- RJ-11 for target connect
- Expensive
- Programme-To-Go function missing
I'd like building ICD-U64 for myself and local users, but I don't know can I?
Can I buy master chip or firmware? How about price?
Some of my advance:
- Tiny plastic box, micro USB and ICSP connector
- Auto set voltage for target board (replace jump-setting)
- ICSP powering (selectable) for master on Programmer-To-Go function
- Option of reduced-version for programmer purpose only (low-price)
I can't leave MPLab when I need programming new chip by PICKit-3
