MTCH6301 Problems |

Hi Guys,
My compiler etc I believe is all fine but I, and others based on a google search, am having problems getting the MTCH6301 (Microchip capacitive touch screen interface) to work. The datasheet is not so good and due to the purpose of the chip they are not widely used which is why there are not a lot of posts regarding them.
After power up, regardless of what I do thus far, the MTCH does not talk for 30 seconds after initiating power. The data it sends does not line up with anything in the data sheet but based on the format is a legitimate packet. I purchased the pickit and upgraded the firmware with a chip specific utility from Microchip and it did not communicate as expected, if at all. After another google search it appears that lots of other people are having the same dilemma with the pickit as well.
There are a handful of posts on the Microchip forum regarding both these issues with zero replies from Microchip or anyone else......very uncool :(
Anyone out there got any source code or experiences albeit good or bad or even suggestions, beggars can't be choosers at this point??? |

Go to the Microchip support page, login to your support account, or create
an account if you don't already have one. Then go to MyTickets and
create a trouble ticket. Describe your problem in detail. You may have
to wait a few days for an answer, but if it's at all possible to solve your
problem, they will do it. |
