18f4520 an5 set for adc but i dont use logic input an0 toan4

Hi, I use pic 18f4520 and I have to use an5 (RE0) for adc. But when I set the an5 for adc, I don't use an0 to an4 (a0,a1,a2,a3) for logic input(button control).
Code:

set_tris_a(0xff); //buttons
set_tris_e(0x01);// analog input
setup_adc_ports(AN0_TO_AN5|VSS_VDD);

How can do?
