dspic33 and ICD2
PostPosted: Wed Jul 09, 2014 2:03 am     Reply with quote

Hi.

Is it possible to burn/program/debug dspic33 with ICD2 ?
I use it for last 5 years at least and there was some topic where someone claims it's possible. Didn't check device support list but i was planning on using it with mplabx on linux.

Depends on the chip.

There should be a 'readme for ICD2' in the MPLAB installation, This lists the supported devices.

Look at:

Some chips do get complex. Some parts that can run at 3.3v, cannot program at this voltage (thankfully not many). This is a 'read the data sheet' problem.
