Problems identifying PIC16F883
PostPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2012 4:03 am     Reply with quote

I'm trying to program a PIC16F883. I have the ICD U64 and the CCS load program can't identify the PIC.
I have tested the MCLR, PGD and PGC and these signals are all correct. Also the voltage of the device is shown correct.

But still it wont recognize the PIC. I also have performed the same test with a PIC 16F877A which went fine.
Any one has an idea what's wrong?
