clock problem on dsPIC33FJ128MC710A
PostPosted: Mon Dec 05, 2011 4:22 am     Reply with quote

Hello everybody,
I am having my first experience with dsPIc. So, I am developing a board with dSPIC33FJ128MC710A and a 8 Mhz crystal. I would like to run the mcu at 40 MIPS, but the code I wrote doesn't work!
Here is the test code that doesn't work:

Code:

#include <33FJ128MC710.h>
#fuses PR_PLL,NODEBUG,NOWDT,NOPROTECT,NOIESO
#use delay(clock = 80M, crystal = 8M)

void main() {
   do {
   output_high(PIN_G15);
    delay_ms(3000);
 output_low(PIN_G15);
   delay_ms(3000);

   } while (TRUE);
}

What is wrong? Can anybody help me about this trouble?... Or better... can anybody send me a working test code by which the mcu can run at 40 MIPS?

Than you everybody!

Hello,

i´m having the same problem, but with the dspic33fj128mc802. I´m trying to make it run at 40MHz with the PLL, but it doesn´t work.

In your code, maybe fail because you don´t put HS in the fuses. If it works, please put your code to see how is it.

Thanks.
