We have a C code for PIC18F4685. The CAN module is working OK, it is transmitting and receiving perfectly.
We are trying to migrate this program to a PIC18F46K80.
Tthe only difference is that we program the #fuses CANB in order to use RB2 and RB3 as TXCAN and RXCAN lines. But it is not working, The CAN module does not transmit or receive.
I think that both microcontrollers have compatible CAN modules.
What happens?
Someone can explain me something?

PIC18F46K80 Compiler update and CCSLOAD
Posted: Wed Nov 23, 2011 9:20 pm
Hi,
There are many changes in the #fuses for the K80 chip.
There is a need to completely read the new settings for the K80 chip in the '.h' file,
as it is not total compatible to other 18F chips do to new changes in the 'K80' core.
Also the compiler was fixed in 4.121 and later along with the new programmer CCSLOAD update posted now,
this needs to be loaded and used with the K80,
due to the chip programming procedure difference by 'MICROCHIP' with this chip from all other 18F chips.
