Using #int_ssp for multi_master devices
PostPosted: Thu Apr 21, 2011 5:07 am     Reply with quote

I have two pics and an eeprom on the same i2c line. Pics are multi_master. One of the pic reads analog inputs and then write it to the eeprom, the other pic reads the analog inputs from eeprom.

it works perfectly. but I realized that the pic reads from eeprom is so busy to do other works. I decided to use a ssp interrupt. So that pic only reads when there is an activity on the i2c line.

it didn't work. Can anyone help me about how to use ssp interrupt for multi master pics?

Code:

.
.
#use i2c(multi_master,sda=pin_c4,scl=pin_c3,fast=400000)
.
.
#int_ssp
void data_exists()
{
     output_high(pin_e2);
}
